All classes introduce students to a variety of mediums such as, painting, ceramics, drawing and sculpture. The Children work with acrylics, watercolors, pastels, charcoal, clay, 3-D design, and mixed media to create mosaics, collages, etc.

Meg believes that by exposing children to a wide variety of projects in the visual arts, including various techniques and art history, the young artist will develop his or her creative and expressive abilities, self-esteem and a heightened sensitivity to the surrounding environment. Studies have proven that children exposed to art will demonstrate increased abilities in conceptual thinking and problem solving skills.

Through their art, children tell us their thoughts, emotions and feelings. If you can tap into a child's imagination and creativity the results can be astounding. Her students will learn the language of art while they discuss each others work with positive, constructive critiques.

Private lessons are for children and adults alike. There is a minimum of 3 people per session. You will be able to choose to work with watercolor, acrylics, or oils.
