Meg Winter can remember as a child tearing exotic pictures of tropical locales from magazines and drawing and pasting them into her homemade scrap book. She wanted to travel the world as far back as she can remember and capture its excitement on canvas.

Meg began her journey studying art at Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana. While in college, she spent a year in Rome, Italy continuing her studies in art and traveling extensively throughout Europe.

Meg has been painting and travelling the world ever since. From San Francisco to Florida, her favorite destinations include the Caribbean, Costa Rica, Hawaii and the Great Northwest for collecting her source materials. Presently, she lives in Stuart, Florida where she enjoys the laid back atmosphere of this picturesque beach town.

Meg works both in oils and watercolors, capturing the beauty of nature and the landscapes of our every day lives. Her commissions in the hospitality trade took off after The Sands Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey had her paint seventy-two original parrot paintings.
